THE EFFECTS OF PERCEIVED WORK OVERLOAD ON ORGANIZATIONAL COMITMENT ON EMPLOYEE TURNOVER INTENTION IN AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY IN PAHANG

Employee turnover is a critical concern for organizations, as it can adversely affect service quality and incur substantial expenses. Drawing on the theoretical framework of social exchange theory, this study presents model to examine interconnections between intentions, organizational commitment, perceived task overload among employees in automotive sector Malaysia. Data was collected from 158 industry professionals who voluntarily participated study. The proposed hypotheses were validated using structural equation modeling (SEM) via SmartPLS 4.0. findings provide empirical support hypothesis that employees' perceptions directly influence their level commitment respective organizations. Moreover, work overload, combined with incentives, significantly impacts influencing decision leave current positions. Surprisingly, found have no significant direct effect intention. This novel research offers comprehensive manage intention Malaysia, utilizing mediating factor. dedication demonstrated by towards organizations plays vital role determining whether they will remain organization, even when perceive skills be declining. These hold implications both clinical practice, offering valuable insights improving workforce readiness amidst challenges posed industrial revolution
